Winner announced in the TCPalm Teacher of the Week poll (June 14-19)

It’s time to vote for the TCPalm Teacher of the Week!

TCPalm wants to recognize Treasure Coast teachers making a difference for their students and schools. Readers — parents, administrators, students, community members and other teachers ― nominate their favorite teachers each week. TCPalm lists four nominated teachers and asks readers to vote for their favorite to be named Teacher of the Week.

TCPalm invites you to support your favorite teacher by voting in this poll. Revisit it to learn about the amazing teachers on the Treasure Coast. You also can nominate your own favorite teacher for a future poll.

This week’s TCPalm Teacher of the Week is Taylor Siringo, teacher at St. Anastasia School in St. Lucie County.

Voting began at 5 a.m. Sunday and ended at noon Friday. Visit this page after voting closes to find out who won that week

What the nominator said: “Jennifer DeGraeve is a loving, kind and caring teacher. She loves her job and loves coming to work each day to teach her second graders. She always brings the best out of each child and works very hard to watch them succeed.”

Bonnie Morris, Jensen Beach Elementary, Martin County

What the nominator said: “Very good teacher.”

Nicole Salzano, Palm Pointe Elementary, St. Lucie County

What the nominator said: “Ms. Salzano has been one of the greatest teachers my daughter has had. She is attentive, kind and goes above and beyond for her students. I want to nominate her because she is that great and deserves to be recognized.”

Taylor Siringo, St. Anastasia School, St. Lucie County

What the nominator said: “Most amazing, compassionate and kind teacher the kids can have.”
