A recent CBS Sports visit tracker from NFL analyst Tyler Sullivan provided an early look at which prospects teams have hosted ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ list gives a clear hint at what they are prioritizing.
So far, the Buccaneers have hosted a mix of prospects on both sides of the ball, including linebackers, defensive linemen, wide receivers, and tight ends.
After looking at the table above, a few things stand out.
The defensive front is clearly a focus this offseason, as it should be. Bringing in multiple edge and defensive line prospects points to a continued effort to build depth and add pass rush upside alongside players like Yaya Diaby and Calijah Kancey. Tampa Bay has leaned into pressure over the past few seasons, and this continues that trend in this draft process.
The tight end position showing up multiple times is just as interesting. With Cade Otton leading a steady but unspectacular group beyond him, it would not be surprising to see the Buccaneers explore adding a more dynamic tight end option via the draft.
Visits are never guarantees, but they do at times tell a story. Right now, that story points toward a team looking to get more disruptive on defense while quietly evaluating ways to add another tight end on offense.
