The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are close to kickoff, and we now know who they will have as they get their 2025 season started against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bucs will have the benefit of having their star defensive lineman, Vita Vea, who was nursing a foot injury this week. He missed some practice time this week, but eventually got back into the swing of things on Friday, and that ultimately made a difference as he will be suiting up. It will be important to have him, as the Falcons boast one of the better running back duos in the NFL, with Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier in their backfield.
The inactives, however, were all expected players for the most part. They include the following:
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport did share an update on Godwin that Bucs fans will enjoy hearing, though. He shares that Week 5 remains a target date for the veteran wide receiver to return to the lineup. Week 6 and 7 also remain an option if the team decides to take things along slowly as well.
