The Florida State Seminoles have had a busy couple of days on the recruiting trail, adding several key targets but losing a longtime commitment to another ACC program.
Over the past three days, they have added commitments from edge Chris Carbin, linebacker Daylen Green, and defensive linemen Franklin Whitley, who are all three-star prospects. They did lose four-star safety Tedarius Hughes, who flipped to the Syracuse Orange after being committed to the Seminoles for over a year.
The recent success has allowed them to fill several holes in the class, though they are still looking for a running back. They are also fighting to hold onto several of their commitments, with the Texas Longhorns pursuing linebacker Karon Maycock and the Ohio State Buckeyes pushing for cornerback Jay Timmons.
FSU now has 27 total commitments, including one five-star prospect, 11 four-star prospects, and 15 three-star prospects, giving them a 44.4% blue-chip ratio. Here is a look at where their class compares to the 15 best in the country, according to the 247Sports composite team rankings.
