JUPITER — Shake Shack is just days away from selling hand-spun milkshakes, cheeseburgers and crinkle-cut fries from Chasewood Plaza in Jupiter.
The fast-casual restaurant chain with hundreds of locations nationwide is opening at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 19 at the plaza at Central Boulevard and West Indiantown Road just east of Interstate 95. It will be Shake Shack’s fourth location in Palm Beach County.
The restaurant will sell its burger, hot dog, chicken sandwich and fries classics alongside its recently-launched Korean-style menu, which includes chicken bites coated in sesame gochujang glaze and burgers with Korean barbecue sauce, among other menu items.
This location will open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day, a spokesperson said. It will sit at the east end of the plaza, where Dunkin’ had an outlet before moving to a new building at the site.
The first group of guests to arrive on opening day can receive miniature tote bags.
That day, Shake Shack will donate one dollar for every sandwich sold to Palm Beach County Food Bank, a nonprofit which works to end hunger. The restaurant will also host a food drive on opening day to collect non-perishable food donations.
What restaurants are coming to Chasewood Plaza in Jupiter?
Shake Shack is one of three new restaurants coming to Chasewood Plaza, which has served residents on the west side of Jupiter for more than 40 years. It will also soon welcome Huey Magoo’s, an Orlando-based eatery that specializes in chicken tenderloins, and Little Moir’s Sweet Fish, the latest seafood restaurant launched by the Moir group of Jupiter.
The plaza, which was built in the early 1980s, is home to more than 30 businesses and anchored by a 55,000 square-foot Publix supermarket, one of the largest in north county.
