What time does ‘Perfect Match’ season 3 come out? Florida contestants, how to watch

The “Avengers: Endgame” of reality dating shows is back.

Netflix’s “Perfect Match” returned with its third season on Friday, Aug. 1, filled with former cast members from hit shows such as “The Bachelor,” “Love Island” and “Love is Blind.” And this season’s cast also includes a few familiar Florida faces.

The first six episodes released last week and the next three hit the streaming platform today.

Here’s how to watch episodes seven, eight and nine of “Perfect Match” season three, how the show works, the cast list and who was coupled up at the end of the sixth episode.

What is ‘Perfect Match’ on Netflix? How does it work?

“Perfect Match” brings together fan favorites (and sometimes beloved “villains”) from various reality dating shows and gives them a second (or third, fourth or fifth) chance at finding love on national television.

On the show, contestants pair up with one another to prove their compatibility and “gain the power to make or break other matches.”

The couples will take part in “strategic and seductive” challenges. Afterward, host Nick Lachey will bring the winning couple into the “boardroom,” where they’ll have the power to break up other couples and bring in new singles.

“Make the wrong choice, and they could end up all alone, risking elimination and the chance to meet their perfect match,” Netflix says.

How to watch new episodes of ‘Perfect Match’ on Netflix

The first six episodes of “Perfect Match” season three premiered on Friday, Aug. 1, exclusively on Netflix. The following episodes will air on Fridays for three weeks.

Episodes seven eight and nine are available to stream starting today, Aug. 8.

Who hosts ‘Perfect Match’ on Netflix?

The show has been hosted by actor and singer Nick Lachey since it made its debut in 2021.

Lachey and his wife, actress Vanessa Lachey, have been the hosts of “Love is Blind,” another Netflix hit reality dating show, since its first season in 2020.

Are any people from Florida on season 3 of ‘Perfect Match’?

There are three Floridians in the ‘Perfect Match’ season three cast:

Heading into the seventh episode, which dropped today, Aug. 8, there were two Floridians left on the show.

Juliette, who was matched with controversial Bachelor Nation “villain” Clayton, left after Clayton decided to match with his ex-flame, Floridian and fellow “Bachelor” alum Rachel. That didn’t last long, though, as he chose to unmatch with her the very next day.

But the episode ended on a cliffhanger, in which the some old contestants, including Juliette, were seen returning.

Rachel is now matched with Scott, and as of the end of episode six, neither of them seem to be interested in other people.

Episode six also brought Jalen’s debut, when Madison decided to re-match with him instead of with Freddie.

Who’s matched on ‘Perfect Match’? See current couples

Matching occurs nightly on “Perfect Match,” which means couples have more opportunities to re-couple than in a show like “Love Island” or “Bachelor in Paradise.”

The following list is who was coupled up at the end of the sixth episode:

When does ‘Perfect Match’ film?

Unlike shows like “Love Island” and “Bachelor in Paradise” that air shortly after filming or in real-time, seasons of “Perfect Match” air roughly a year later. Cosmopolitan reported that this season was filmed in summer 2024.

Do the winners of ‘Perfect Match’ on Netflix get money?

While this is not a cash prize, the winners do get something: an all-expenses-paid vacation together to the destination of their choice.
