We’re monitoring the cut line at the 2026 Houston Open to see which PGA Tour golfers are in line to make or miss the cut.
Brooks Koepka, making his sixth start since returning from LIV Golf, got off to a rocky start at Memorial Park Golf Course, shooting a 5-over 75 in the first round thanks to three double bogeys. He missed the cut at the Phoenix Open in February but has finished in the top 20 in his past three tournaments.

Sudarshan Yellamaraju made waves with his top-five finish at The Players Championship, and he went 1 under in his first round since then. He’ll need to keep that up to play the weekend, as will Shane Lowry and Chris Gotterup. Ben Griffin, Wyndham Clark and Nico Echavarria are among those needing to improve in Round 2 to qualify for the third round.
