Another meeting with world leaders … another close inspection of President Donald Trump’s height.

Trump arrived in the Netherlands on June 24 to attend the NATO Summit. Upon arrival in The Hague, he attended a dinner hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, according to pool reporters.

People on social media have latched on to the footage of their meeting as the men appear to be the same height as they shake hands. Like meetings with Prince William of England and footage of Trump with Elon Musk in Saudi Arabia, the side-by-side comparison has sparked questions.

How tall are they? Here is what we know:

How tall is Donald Trump?

President Donald Trump is 6-feet-3-inches according to his annual physical exam in April.

The first family is also tall. Former model and first lady Melania Trump is 5-foot-11 inches, and their son Barron Trump, towers above them, though there is some debate over his actual height.

How tall is the King of the Netherlands?

Sources show a few different answers for the height of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

The Daily Mail and Hello! Magazine list him at 6-feet-2-and-3/4-inches and 6-feet-2-inches, respectively. IMDB states he is 6-feet-3-inches, according to the Alexa FAQs.

Trump has a tall family. How tall is Barron Trump?

The president’s youngest child Barron Trump is at least 6’7″, though reports surfaced that he could be taller, up to 6’9.”

What is the NATO Summit? What are they talking about?

NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, a security alliance of 32 countries from North America and Europe. The NATO Summit happens at key moments for the alliance rather than on regular periods. The last summit was held in Washington, D.C., in July 2024.

NATO leaders on June 25 endorsed higher defense spending that Trump has demanded.

“We reaffirm our ironclad commitment to collective defense as enshrined in Article 5 of the Washington Treaty – that an attack on one is an attack on all,” the brief communique stated, according to Reuters.
