Tropical Storm Jerry continues to strengthen and is expected to bring tropical storm conditions to portions of the northern Leeward Islands later today and into Friday, Oct. 10, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The tropical storm is now expected to become a hurricane late Friday or Saturday.

Current models show Jerry taking a path similar to other hurricanes this year, curving to the north and staying away from Florida and the U.S. East Coast.
