In the Jacksonville Jaguars’ joint practice with the New Orleans Saints, Travis Hunter made an impressive sideline touchdown catch during a red-zone period.
Brent Martineau of Action Sports Jax is in attendance and posted on X that Nick Mullens was the quarterback who squeezed the pass to Hunter in the end zone. Hunter then made the catch and dragged his toes to complete the touchdown.
Hunter then spun the ball and danced to celebrate.
The Jaguars’ social media team then posted the highlight play.
As was expected, Hunter was spotted playing on both sides of the ball in the joint practice.
The expectation this season is that Hunter will see more opportunities on defense than he did as a rookie, but the Jaguars still plan to utilize him on offense as well.
On the Jaguars’ unofficial depth chart, Hunter is listed as a starting cornerback and the fourth wide receiver.
