The Florida State Seminoles suffered their sixth loss of the season on Saturday night, falling to the NC State Wolfpack 21-11 at Carter-Finely Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina. They are now 5-6 on the season, including 0-4 on the road, to the disappointment of their fans.
Head coach Mike Norvell was asked about their road struggles, which go back to last season, and he admitted that it is frustrating that they can’t figure it out.
“I’d like to have a better – I mean, if I had a better answer for it, it would be fixed,” Norvell said. “You know, I mean, hell, we get on the road and we have multiple games we go out and you’re not able to make the plays in the moment. You play at home and, you know, you’re making the plays.
“Whatever that is, we tried a variety of different things, but that was extremely frustrating. Because, once again, I see the work. I see the preparation. I see what it looks like in practice. And whether it’s, you know, guys getting caught up, trying too hard, whatever that is. But, yeah, we’ve got to be better.”
