Ok, winter is officially over. Don’t panic. It’s only spring, not summer and we’ve still got plenty of non-sauna-like days to enjoy all that South Florida has to offer. Now get out and bid on the car of your dreams at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction, dig into deliciousness at the 16th Annual Friends of Jupiter Beach Food & Wine Festival, celebrate Italian food, music, culture and more at Galbani Festa Italiana of Wellington.

In addition to the top five events listed there’s always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County’s waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. 1. Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction, West Palm Beach

Held at the South Florida Fairgrounds, the event will feature hundreds of No Reserve collector cars crossing the auction block, an Exhibitor Marketplace, interactive sponsor displays, dining options, high-speed thrill rides and more.

2. Friends of Jupiter Beach Food & Wine Festival, Jupiter

The Friends of Jupiter Food & Wine Festival, in its 16th year, will be held at the scenic Harbourside-Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk and feature a curated lineup of dozens of local restaurants, chefs, and beverage partners. Festivalgoers can enjoy live music from local bands, explore the interactive bark park, along with new features including a Wine Row and more. Leashed dogs welcome. Proceeds Friends of Jupiter Beach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Jupiter’s coastline. The organization helps maintain over five miles of shoreline while promoting responsible, dog-friendly beach access.

The event is 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18. 25 S. Coastal Way, Jupiter. Tickets start at $75. Information: friendsofjupiterbeach.org

3. Galbani Festa Italiana of Wellington, Wellington Amphitheater

This Italian street festival will once again feature national entertainment, demonstrations including the La Cucina Galbani Cooking stage with nationally known chefs like celebrity chef Marco Sciortino, authentic food, wine seminars, a pizza eating contest, festival rides, games and more.

The event is 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 17; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 19; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 19. Wellington. Free. Information: wellingtonfestaitaliana.com

4. Candlelight: Tribute to Adele, West Palm Beach

Presented by Fever and held at First Presbyterian Church of West Palm Beach, this concert featuring the Listeso String Quartet is a live, multi-sensory musical experience and a tribute to one of the great voices of our time. Selections tentatively include “Hello,” “Rumour Has It,” “Water Under the Bridge,” “Someone Like You,” “Send My Love,” “Skyfall,” and more.

The show is 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 17. 301 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach. Tickets start at $62. Information: feverup.com

5. Spikes & Spokes Charity Volleyball Tournament, North Palm Beach

Held at the North Palm Beach Village Community Center, this event will benefit Jack the Bike Man and is being hosted by Local Volley (LoVo). Presented by Searcy Law, the matches will consist of four-on-four matches with pool play in the morning and then playoffs. All levels are welcome. Every team registration, sponsorship, and donated prize helps Jack the Bike Man continue providing bicycles to individuals who depend on bikes for transportation, school, and daily life.

Bonus: Roots & Ruts Off-Road 5K Run/Walk, Jupiter

The race starts at The Els Center of Excellence, continues through the North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area, the first certified autism-friendly trail in the state of Florida, and finishes back on campus. There will also be a sensory-friendly obstacle course designed for participants of all ages and abilities. Following the race, attendees can explore the post-race expo, which will include businesses led by individuals with autism. Els for Autism is devoted to helping children and adults with autism and their families live better lives through innovative, research-based programs.
