It may be hot out, but that’s why hats and sunscreen were invented. There is usually less competition to get tee times in Florida in the summer and here are courses that are worth beating the heat on.
Golfweek put together a list of the top public-access courses in each state you can play in 2025. The courses were determined by a panel consisting of hundreds of members who continually evaluate courses and rate them on 10 criteria on a points scale of 1 through 10.
The courses on this list allow public access in some fashion, be it standard daily green fees, through a resort or by staying at an affiliated hotel. If there’s a will, there’s a tee time – no membership required.
