Tallahassee community gears up to celebrate fatherhood with a stroll in Cascade Park

Tallahassee dads will get the chance to win a free stroller at the Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition’s third annual Dads & Strollers event.

That’s Saturday, June 7 in Cascades Park. Father’s Day is celebrated nationally on Sunday, June 15.

“Dads & Strollers is more than just a walk in the park; it’s a celebration of fatherhood and community,” Chris Szorcsik, executive director of the nonprofit organization, said in a news release. “We invite dads, granddads, uncles, father figures and their families to join us for a day filled with joy, connection, and support.”

The free community event is an initiative under the organization’s T.E.A.M. Dad program, which empowers men to be responsible and engaged fathers.

Attendees can expect refreshments, enjoy a scenic walk through the park, play games, and take photos to capture memories.
