Here’s our list of the area’s best quarterbacks entering the 2025 season in alphabetical order:

Dom Ardezzone, Fort Myers

Ardezzone was an effective quarterback in his first season for the Green Wave, completing 119 of 222 passes for 1,815 yards and 15 touchdowns against six interceptions. He’ll have a tandem of wide receivers to work with, headlined by speedster Fred Jackson.

Cale Austin, Community School of Naples

Austin’s junior season saw him complete 103 of 186 passes (55.4%) for 1,717 yards, tossing 12 touchdowns with 8 interceptions. He also ran for 61 yards and a pair of scores with the Seahawks, helping them reach the regional semifinal round.

Will Bichler, South Fort Myers

Viewed by a handful of coaches as a quarterback with the best ball in Southwest Florida, Bichler will aim to lead the Wolfpack back to the postseason. As a junior with South, Bichler completed 107 of 230 passes (46.5%) for 1,489 yards with 12 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. Bichler also ran 11 times for 64 yards with a pair of scores.

Austan Cristiaan, Bishop Verot

Heir apparent to Carter Smith, Cristiaan’s got a chance to shine in the Verot offense with weapons like Ayden Gonzalez, Jadrien Carmo, Jyden German, Gavin Wittmer, Connor Pierre, and Bryce Schell among others. As a freshman in a backup role a season ago, Cristiaan completed 21 of 41 passes for 280 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions.

Peyton Frontino, St. John Neumann

Frontino led the Celtics to the postseason a year ago, posting strong numbers as a junior. He threw for 1,257 yards with a completion percentage just under 55 percent, with 13 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions. He also rushed for 147 yards and will have a bona fide one-two punch in Jayden Petit and Rony Raposo at wide receiver.

Chris Germinal, Immokalee

Germinal has been the heartbeat of the Immokalee offense as the Indians’ dual-threat QB entering his senior year. Last season, he threw for 1,580 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushed for 351 yards and three scores.

Alijah Molina, Naples

Naples quarterbacks don’t often get the love they deserve because they’re primarily field generals, but Molina made his mark a season ago. He threw for 707 yards with 8 touchdowns against one interception, adding 222 rushing yards and 8 additional scores.

Sam Powell, Barron Collier

Powell spent the first three seasons of his career as the quarterback at Golden Gate, where he completed 184-of-373 passes for 2,898 yards and 33 touchdowns against 11 picks. He received an offer from Boston College in 2023.

Brady Quinn, Lely

Quinn had a breakout freshman campaign at First Baptist, throwing for 2,549 yards with 33 touchdowns against 9 interceptions. With a loaded receiving corps at Lely this season, the sophomore signal caller could very well surpass those marks from a year ago.

Maddox Stewart, Estero

Stewart had a breakout sophomore season under center with the Wildcats, going 165-of-270 for 2,405 yards and 26 touchdowns against nine picks. The 6-foot signal-caller also rushed for 244 yards and two scores.
