See who made the 2025-26 All-Space Coast girls track team

The Satellite High duo of Celina Coryell and Keira Merrick each had banner years in track and field.

Coryell won the state title in the 3200-meter race at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 10:36.24. She owns the 6th fastest time in the state this year with 10:30.00 at the FSU Relays in March. She won the Cape Coast Conference meet while setting a new record at the event (10:54.62). And she won both the District 13-3A meet (10:56.37) and the Region 4-3A meet (11:08.01).

In addition, Coryell ran the fastest 1600m time by a Brevard County athlete (4:55.42) at the FSU Relays in March. It also stands as the 15th fastest time in the state this year. She also took first at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a time of 5:02.51.

Merrick won a state title in the 800-meter race at the Class 3A meet with a time of 2:10.04. It was the 8th fastest time in the state among all classifications. Merrick also took first place at the Region 4-3A meet.

In addition, Merrick competed in and won the 400m hurdles at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a time of 1:06.88. She won the District 13-3A meet with a time of 1:05.73, her best time of the season.

Coryell and Merrick were half of the 4×800 relay team, along with Reese Williams and Hannah Harris, that took 4th place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 9:22.03.

Given Coryell and Merrick both won state titles, won CCC titles and teamed to help their relay team do so well at state, FLORIDA TODAY is naming them co-All-Space Coast girls track and field athletes of the year.

Here is the rest of our track and field All-Space Coast athletes, split into first, second and third teams, with honorable mentions.

FIRST TEAM

100: Diamond Bryant, Junior, Cocoa

Bryant was the Class 2A runner-up with a time of 11.80 seconds at the state meet in Jacksonville. She also owns the 24th fastest time in the state with 11.71 seconds, done at the Tiger Invitational in February.

200: Diamond Bryant, Junior, Cocoa

Jones took 8th place in the Class 3A state meet in Jacksonville with a time of 24.93 seconds. She also ran the fastest 200 time in the county at the Region 2-2A meet in May at 24.56.

400: Laila Dupuch, Senior, Rockledge

Edgecombe took 7th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 56.14 seconds. Her state time was the fastest 400m in the county this season.

800: Keira Merrick, Senior, Satellite

Merrick won the Class 3A state title with a time of 2:10.04. It was the 8th fastest time in the state among all classifications. Merrick also took first place at the Region 4-3A meet.

1600: Celina Coryell, Senior, Satellite

Coryell ran the fastest 1600 by a Brevard County athlete with a time of 4:55.42 at the FSU Relays in March. It also stands as the 15th fastest time in the state this year. She also took first at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a time of 5:02.51.

3200: Celina Coryell, Senior, Satellite

Coryell won the state title in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 10:36.24. She owns the 6th fastest time in the state this year with 10:30.00 at the FSU Relays in March. She won the Cape Coast Conference meet while setting a new record at the event (10:54.62). And she won both the District 13-3A meet (10:56.37) and the Region 4-3A meet (11:08.01).

100 hurdles: Reyna Gaines, Junior, Rockledge

Gaines took 11th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 14.83 second. She took first at the Cape Coast Conference meet (14.74) and first at the District 13-3A meet (14.37).

400 hurdles: Keira Merrick, Senior, Satellite

Merrick won the Cape Coast Conference meet with a time of 1:06.88. She won the District 13-3A meet with a time of 1:05.73, her best time of the season.

High jump: Anna Phillips, Junior, Holy Trinity

Phillips took 10th place in the Class 1A state meet with a distance of 1.52m. Her best jump was 1.55m at the Rockledge Mini Meet in February. She came in first at the District 8-1A meet (1.47m) and second at the Region 2-1A meet (1.47m).

Long Jump: Kalaijah Baker, Senior, Rockledge

Baker took 6th place in the Class 3A state meet with a distance of 5.57m. She took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet (5.24m), first place at the District 13-3A meet (5.48m) and second at the Region 4-3A meet (5.58m). Her season-best was 5.69m at the Blue Devil Invitational in March.

Triple jump: Sanau Jhagroo, Senior, Rockledge

Jhagroo had the 11th longest jump in the state this season with 11.83m at the Blue Devin Invitational in March. She took second at the District 13-3A meet (10.92m) and fifth in the Region 4-3A meet (11.14m).

Pole Vault: Addison Green, Junior, Satellite

Green took 17th place in the Class 3A state meet with a height of 2.85m. Her season-best vault of 3.00m came at the Region 4-3A meet where she finished second. She took first at the Cape Coast Conference meet (2.75m) and first at the District 13-3A meet (2.85m).

Discus: Bailey Madsen, Senior, Satellite

Madsen took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 34.86m, third place at the District 13-3A meet (34.93m) and seventh place at the Region 4-3A meet (34.37m). Her season-best distance was 38.03m at the Pepsi Florida Relays in April.

Javelin: Bailey Madsen, Senior, Satellite

Madsen took 2nd place in the Class 3A state meet with a distance of 42.52m. It was the 6th longest distance in the state this season. She also took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet (36.67m), first place at the District 13-3A meet (36.86m) and first place at the Region 4-3A meet (39.75m).

Shot put: Bailey Madsen, Senior, Satellite

Madsen took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 10.72m. She had a season-best 10.82m in taking third place at the District 13-3A meet. And she took 8th at the Region 4-3A meet (10.05m).

4×100 Relay: Cocoa High

The team of I’Yana Barnes, Diamond Bryant, Jayla Edgecombe and La’Nija Thomas won the state title at the Class 2A state meet with a time of 47.38 seconds. They also took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet (46.94).

4×400 Relay: Rockledge High

The team of Azaria Waller, Laila Dupuch, Christina Jones and Kahleina Vereen took 4th place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 3:54.17.

4×800 Relay: Rockledge High

The team of Azaria Waller, Isabella Pinto, Kahleina Vereen and Laila Dupuch took 3rd place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 9:21.65.

SECOND TEAM

100: Christina Jones, Freshman, Rockledge

Jones took 13th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 11.98 seconds.

200: Christina Jones, Freshman, Rockledge

Jones took 9th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 24.76 seconds.

400: Devin Kennedy, Junior, Bayside

Kennedy took 17th in the Class 4A state meet with a time of 59.41 seconds. Her best time this season was 57.74 at the Region 2-4A meet in May.

800: Azaria Waller, Freshman, Rockledge

Waller took 12th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 2:18.48. She took first place at the Cape Coast Conference meet in April with her best time of the season at 2:15.95. And she took first place in the District 13-3A meet April.

1600: Selah Vignier, Sophomore, West Shore

Vignier took 10th place in the Class 2A state meet with a time of 5:16.12. Her best time this year was at the FSU Relays when she ran 5:10.97. She also took first place at the Region 2-2A meet (5:18.65) and first in the District 7-2A meet (5:14.63).

3200: Selah Vignier, Sophomore, West Shore

Vignier took second place at the Cape Coast Conference meet (11:21.56), first at the District 7-2A meet (11:09.20) and first at the Region 2-2A meet (11:38.84). Her best time this season was 10:59.27 at the FSU Relays in March.

100 hurdles: Cailyn Easton, Senior, Holy Trinity

Easton took 7th place in the Class 1A state meet with a time of 15.61 seconds. Her best time of 15.27 came at the IMG Academy Invitational in April. She also took first place at the District 8-1A meet. (15.82).

400 hurdles: Jazylle Bradley, Sophomore, Rockledge

Bradley took 14th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 1:06.52, her best time of the season. She finished 2nd at the Cape Coast Conference meet (1:07.39) and 2nd at the District 13-3A meet (1:09.30).

High jump: Caitlin Clune, Sophomore, West Shore

Clune had the highest jump in the county with 1.60m at Tiger Invitational in February. She took first place at the District 7-2A meet (1.47m) and 5th in the Region 2-2A meet (1.47m).

Long Jump: Kaylee Edwards, Junior, Astronaut

Edwards took 7th place in the Class 2A state meet with a distance of 5.39m. She took second at the Cape Coast Conference meet (5.21m) and second at the Class 7-2A meet (5.31m).

Triple jump: Kaylee Edwards, Junior, Astronaut

Edwards took 17th place at the Class 2A meet with a jump of 10.53m. She took second at the Cape Coast Conference meet (10.64m), 1st in the District 8-2A meet (10.33m) and a season-best 11.39m in taking third place at the Region 2-2A meet.

Pole Vault: Isla Clark, Freshman, Viera

Clark took second at the Cape Coast Conference meet (2.60m) while finishing third at the District 7-4A meet (2.85m).

Discus: Lily Collier, Senior, Holy Trinity

Collier took 14th place in the Class 1A state meet with a distance of 30.41m. She took first at the District 8-1A meet (30.30m) and second at the Region 2-1A meet (30.57m). Her season-best was 33.15m at the Rockledge Mini Meet in March.

Javelin: Leigh Hertel, Junior, Satellite

Hertel also took second place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a season-best distance of 32.15m. She also took third place at the District 13-3A meet (31.45m) and fourth at the Region 4-3A meet (31.44m).

Shot put: Sydney Lelle, Junior, Astronaut

Lelle took second place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 9.65m. She also took second at the 7-2A meet (9.74m) and 7th at the Region 2-2A meet (9.40m).

4×100 Relay: Rockledge High

The team of Jayla Brown, Christina Jones, Reyna Gaines and Estella Allen took 6th place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 47.65 seconds.

4×400 Relay: Satellite High

The team of Faith Kephart, Hannah Harris, Keira Merrick and Reese Williams took 12th place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 4:00.69.

4×800 Relay: Satellite High

The team of Celina Coryell, Reese Williams, Hannah Harris and Keira Merrick took 4th place at the Class 3A state meet with a time of 9:22.03.

THIRD TEAM

100: Jayla Edgecombe, Senior, Cocoa

Edgecombe took 11th place in the Class 2A state meet with a time of 12.30 seconds.

200: Jayla Edgecombe, Senior, Cocoa

Edgecombe took 11th place in the Class 2A state meet with a time of 25.12 seconds.

400: Lily Gilmore, Junior, Odyssey Charter

Gilmore took 10th in the Class 1A state meet with a time of 59.51 seconds.

800: Grace Mooney, Senior, Holy Trinity

Mooney took 9th place in the Class 1A state meet with a time of 2:20.90.

1600: Hannah Harris, Senior, Satellite

Harris took 18th place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 5:24.02. She took third at the Cape Coast Conference meet (5:20.26), second at the District 13-3A meet (5:19.67) and fourth in the Region 4-3A meet (5:18.28).

3200: Taylor Geraghty, 7th Grade, Holy Trinity

Geraghty took 3rd place in the Class 3A state meet with a time of 11:09.54. She also took 2nd in the District 8-1A meet (11:42.90) and third in the Region 2-1A meet (11:37.90).

100 hurdles: I’Yana Barnes, Senior, Cocoa

Barnes took 11th place in the Class 2A state meet with a time of 15.67 seconds. Her best time of 15.49 came at the Tiger Invitational in February. She also took first place at the District 7-2A meet. (15.60).

400 hurdles: Juelle Maaser, Sophomore, Holy Trinity

Bradley took 11th place in the Class 1A state meet with a time of 1:07.46. She took 2nd place in the District 8-1A meet (1:09.20) and 3rd at the Region 2-1A meet 1:08.41).

High jump: Emonie Moore, Junior, Titusville

Moore had a season-best jump of 1.52m at the Holy Trinity Invitational in March.

Long Jump: Sariah Carlyle, Sophomore, Rockledge

Carlyle took second at the District 13-3A meet with a jump of 5.34m. She took 10th at the Region 4-3A meet (4.94m). Her best jump of the season was 5.39m at the Blue Devin Invitational in March.

Triple Jump: Sariah Carlyle, Sophomore, Rockledge

Carlyle had a season-best jump of 11.44m at the Astronaut Invitational in March. She took 6th at the District 13-3A meet (10.00m) and 12th at the Region 4-3A meet (10.21m).

Pole Vault: Gabby Weiner, Junior, Holy Trinity

Weiner took 11th place in the Class 1A state meet with a height of 2.55m. She placed second at the District 8-1A meet (2.55m) at fourth at the Region 2-1A meet (2.55m).

Discus: Jacqueline Widmeier, Junior, Rockledge

Widmeier took second place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 29.78m. She had her season-best distance of 29.83m at the District 13-3A meet, good for 5th place.

Javelin: Jacqueline Widmeier, Junior, Rockledge

Widmeier took third place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 32.10m. She took second place at the District 13-3A meet with a season-best 33.33m) and fifth at the Region 4-3A meet (31.06m).

Shot put: Eve Kraft, Senior, Edgewood

Kraft took third place at the Cape Coast Conference meet with a distance of 9.23m. She also took first place at the District 7-2A meet (9.76m).

4×100 Relay: Holy Trinity

The team of Cailyn Easton, Julianna Pedicini, Isabelle Bagwell and Peyton Mathis Allen took 4th place at the Class 1A state meet with a time of 49.22 seconds.

4×400 Relay: Holy Trinity

The team of Juelle Maaser, Grace Mooney, Elizabeth Stewart and Shaniya Young took 10th place at the Class 1A state meet with a time of 4:08.06.

4×800 Relay: Edgewood

The team of Wiktoria Gividen, Lily Myers, Rebecca Lee and Kendall Ratliff took 8th place at the Class 2A state meet with a time of 9:44.92.
