When it comes to coffee and Mexican food in the Leesburg area, there isn’t a shortage of either option.
When it comes to java joints, another is planned to open in the central Lake County city, and not only is it yet another coffee business among several for a city of Leesburg’s size, but it’s the second belonging to a chain that already exists in town.
Back in early 2024, we told you that 7 Brew was opening in Leesburg.
The new drive-thru coffee stand, like its other locations, is planned to offer more than 20,000 unique drink combinations to choose from.
Does this have anything to do with HTeoO closing?
No. HTeaO, an iced tea shop that recently closed in Leesburg, is not affiliated with 7 Brew.
Where will Leesburg’s new 7Brew be located?
On Aug. 18, the company’s spokesperson told the Daily Commercial that a second Leesburg 7 Brew will be located at 10601 U.S. 441 by the Arby’s in front of Publix, near the Lake Square Mall.
“More than your standard coffee stand, 7 Brew offers an extensive variety of unique drink combinations. From the original Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, to 7 Energy, smoothies, shakes and teas, there is something for everyone at 7 Brew,” the spokesperson said, refamiliarizing us with the brand, which “boasts more than 450 stands across the country.”
When will it open?
The 7 Brew company plans to open its new Leesburg location this fall.
Why 7 Brew and not Starbucks?
According to industry reports, 7Brew has been on a fast-track expansion tear, especially with franchising, focusing on speed and efficiency in their drive-thru model.
A builder for 7 Brew, Frey-Moss Structures says, they feature “innovative modular units” that are “pre-fabricated with precision, then transported to the site where they’re quickly installed on pre-prepared foundations.”
Is 7 Brew more popular than Starbucks?
According to Reddit, several users prefer 7 Brew because they say it’s more affordable and has a more consistent taste, unique flavor options, friendlier service and a more personalized drink experience.
One reviewer mentioned that two drinks at 7Brew cost $13 compared to $17 at Starbucks.
Coffee purists who like classic, unfussy espresso drinks tend to prefer Starbucks for its roasted bean quality. Starbucks has historically shown strong customer loyalty, according to CustomerGauge.
But 7Brew is gaining steam, no pun intended, on Yelp. Based on Yelp reviews and related discussions, it appears that while Starbucks remains a popular and widely available option, 7Brew is getting more positive feedback and mentions as a customer preference among Yelp reviewers.
According to Franchise Times, “It’s the kindness of Chick-fil-A and ordering and delivering directly to the vehicle,” 7 Brew CEO Larry Wilson told the publication, which added that the drive-up stand offers “tangible positive energy, coupled with an almost singular focus on beverages (the only food items are muffin tops).”
