The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce recently announced the finalists for the 36th annual Frank G. Berlin Sr. Sarasota Business Awards presented by the Herald-Tribune Media Group.
The celebration of local business excellence will take place on June 26 from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at The Ora, 578 McIntosh Road, in Sarasota.
In its 36th year, the Sarasota Business Awards honor outstanding member businesses across 10 categories, recognizing organizations that demonstrate innovation, leadership, and a lasting commitment to the local economy. The awards are named in honor of the late Frank G. Berlin Sr., whose legacy of community leadership and steadfast support of the Chamber continues to inspire generations of business leaders.
The Chamber also extends its gratitude to the Berlin Foundation for its continued support of this signature program. The event schedule includes networking at 10:15 a.m.
The finalists:
· Small Business of the Year (1–25 Employees) presented by Sarasota Bradenton International Airport: Holliday Group, Stage Door Studios, Inc., Vertical Chiropractic.
· Medium Business of the Year (25–150 Employees) presented by MIDFLORIDA Credit Union: Blue Collar Roofing, Humane Society of Sarasota County, Jesse’s Garage European Auto Repair.
· Large Business of the Year (150+ Employees) presented by Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick: Bone Dry Roofing, Miles Partnership, Tommy’s Express Car Wash.
· Community Impact Award presented by Kerkering, Barberio & Co.: Goodwill Manasota Gulf Coast Community Foundation, S-One.
· Nonprofit Organization of the Year presented by Seacoast Bank: Harvest House, Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC), Teen Court of Sarasota.
· Breakthrough Business of the Year presented by Bank of America: Angotti Design, Key Sailing, King HR Services Inc.
· Rising Star Award presented by HH Staffing: Courtyard Modern Development LLC; Kaitlyn Perez Communications, Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Sarasota.
· Woman-Owned Business of the Year presented by Herald-Tribune Media Group: Luhrsen Goldberg, State Street Eating House + Cocktails, Vives Digital.
· Workforce Development & Innovation Award presented by CareerSource Suncoast: Children First, Helios Technologies, NCN Electric, Inc.
· Hospitality Business of the Year presented by Visit Sarasota County: Sarasota Art Museum, Sarasota Paradise, The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.
