Florida’s Space Coast — home of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — is the reigning rocket launch capital of the world.
Last year saw a new annual record of 93 orbital launches, with the final mission of 2024 taking flight on New Year’s Eve. This year, that record fell by the wayside 2½ weeks before Thanksgiving. How high will the launch total climb in 2025?

1. SpaceX Thuraya 4
SpaceX launched the first rocket of 2025 from Florida’s Space Coast amid crystal-clear skies Jan. 3, sending the Thuraya 4 satellite into geosynchronous orbit for a telecommunications company based in the United Arab Emirates.
2. SpaceX Starlink 6-71
After being pushed back multiple times, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched Jan. 6 at the end of the allotted launch window for the day. Its payload was 24 new Starlink satellites for the ever-growing satellite internet constellation.
3. SpaceX Starlink 12-11
SpaceX launched the Space Coast’s third orbital rocket thus far in 2025 on Jan. 8, startling hundreds of birds into flight from trees and vegetation near pad 39A at KSC.
4. SpaceX Starlink 12-12
On Friday, Jan. 10, SpaceX launched their latest batch of Starlink satellites. This mission saw the first-stage booster set a record 25 flights. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 2:11 p.m. from Cape Canaveral, Space Launch Complex 40.
5. SpaceX Starlink 12-4
Cloaked by cloud cover, a rumbling SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket promptly vanished from view from various vantage points across the Space Coast swiftly after liftoff at 11:47 a.m. Jan. 13 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
6. SpaceX Firefly Blue Ghost and ispace RESILIENCE
Two lunar landers launched to the moon atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 1:11 a.m. Jan. 15 from Kennedy Space Center’s Pad 39A. Firefly’s Blue Ghost lander carried 10 science and technology payloads for NASA.
7. Blue Origin New Glenn maiden mission
Lumbering off the launch pad from a billowing fiery cloud, Blue Origin’s mighty 321-foot-tall New Glenn rocket hurtled into the history books at 2:03 a.m. Jan. 16 on its maiden mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
8. SpaceX Starlink 13-1
In the Space Coast’s eighth launch of 2025 thus far, a SpaceX Falcon 9 took flight on another Starlink mission at 12:24 a.m. Jan. 21 from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
9. SpaceX Starlink 12-7
Monday’s Space Coast rush-hour commuters may have been surprised by a sight in the skies: a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket streaking skyward from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:05 p.m. EST Jan. 27 from Launch Complex 40.
10. SpaceX SpainSat NG-1
SpaceX launched the first of two satellites in the SpainSat series. SpainSat NG-1 took off right on time at 8:34 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A.
11. SpaceX Starlink 12-3
The fog was so thick that the shrouded rocket was scarcely visible on SpaceX’s own webcast. But a Falcon 9 lifted off at 5:15 a.m. Feb. 4 from Launch Complex 40 during a National Weather Service dense fog advisory.
12. SpaceX Maxar 3
With blaring sonic booms, a Falcon 9 first-stage booster descended and touched down Feb. 4 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, wrapping up a SpaceX launch doubleheader day after lifting off at 6:13 p.m. from NASA’s neighboring Kennedy Space Center.
13. SpaceX Starlink 12-9
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, SpaceX launched its latest batch of Starlink satellites. The launch happened to fall on Super Bowl weekend, bringing double entertainment for many. Liftoff occurred at 2:18 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40.
14. SpaceX Starlink 12-18
Beneath a blue sky dotted with thin white clouds, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bolted aloft from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:53 p.m. Feb. 11 on the 14th orbital rocket launch of the year from Florida’s Space Coast.
15. SpaceX Starlink 12-8
Lifting off at 1:14 a.m., early Feb. 15 from Cape Canaveral SLC-40, the rocket vanished into the clouds. This Falcon 9 booster holds the reusability record for now, as it marked the 26th time this Falcon 9 had been flown and landed.
16. SpaceX Starlink 10-12
The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bolted skyward at 6:21 p.m. Feb. 18 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Then a bit more than eight minutes later, the first-stage booster landed in the Bahamas for the first time, completing its unique international circuit.
17. SpaceX Starlink 12-14
On a cold Friday morning, SpaceX launched its latest batch of Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. Launch occurred at 10:19 a.m., and saw the 21st flight of the first-stage booster.
18. SpaceX Intuitive Machines IM-2 (Athena)
The second lunar lander by Intuitive Machines launched to the moon, lifting off at 7:16 p.m., on Wednesday, February 26. Launch was atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. The lander, known as Athena, is carrying NASA science which will benefit future human exploration. It is also carrying various science and technology payloads by private companies.
19. SpaceX Starlink 12-13
A little more than three hours after Feb. 26 IM-2 liftoff, a second SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched at 10:34 p.m. from adjacent Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This Starlink mission, which lifted 21 internet-beaming satellites into low-Earth orbit, completed a nighttime launch doubleheader.
20. SpaceX Starlink 12-20
SpaceX launched another Falcon 9 rocket during the Oscars ceremony, sending up a payload of 21 Starlink broadband satellites at 9:24 p.m. March 2 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
21. SpaceX Starlink 12-21
Roughly 3½ hours after the March 12 Crew-10 scrub, SpaceX crews launched a different Falcon 9 carrying 21 Starlink satellites at 10:35 p.m. from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
22. NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10
Shortly before sunset March 14, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 roared off the launch pad aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, tearing past white, wispy cirrus clouds above Kennedy Space Center en route to rendezvous with the International Space Station.
23. SpaceX Starlink 12-16
Nipping at the heels of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 launch the previous evening, SpaceX successfully targeted another Falcon 9 launch March 15 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
24. SpaceX Starlink 12-15
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket took flight the afternoon of March 18 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — a couple of hours before Boeing Starliner astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were scheduled to splash down off the Sunshine State after their unexpectedly long stay aboard the International Space Station.
25. SpaceX NROL-69
A SpaceX Falcon 9 took flight from Florida’s Space Coast on March 24 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and delivered a national security payload designed, built and operated by the National Reconnaissance Office up into orbit.
26. SpaceX Starlink 6-80
Just hours before the Fram2 mission, the delayed Starlink 6-80 mission lifted off from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. The launch occurred at 3:53 p.m. on March 31.
27. SpaceX Fram2
Even though storms just rolled off shore, the record-breaking crew of Fram2 lifted off right on time at 9:46 p.m. on March 31. The Falcon 9 rocket bolted off KSC Pad 39A and into a southern trajectory as lightning flashed in the distance.
28. SpaceX Starlink 6-72
A Falcon 9 rocket delivered 28 Starlink internet satellites during this Saturday night launch. Liftoff occurred at 11:07 p.m. on April 5, from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40.
29. SpaceX Starlink 12-17
After two days of scrubs, the Falcon 9 rocket carried 21 Starlink internet satellites to orbit. Liftoff occurred at 8:53 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A.
30. SpaceX Starlink 6-73
Seconds after the stroke of midnight April 14, a SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on a noteworthy endurance-test mission: The first-stage booster completed its unprecedented 27th launch and landing.
31. NASA-SpaceX CRS-32
Generating window-rattling sonic booms in the cloudless predawn air, NASA and SpaceX teamed up April 21 to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on a resupply run to the International Space Station at 4:15 a.m. EDT from Kennedy Space Center.
32. SpaceX Bandwagon-3
SpaceX launched the second delivery mission of the day on the evening of April 21. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 8:48 p.m. from Cape Canaveral SLC-40. Just over eight minutes later, the booster landed at Landing Zone 2, creating a Space Coast sonic boom. The three payload onboard made up the Bandwagon-3 mission − SpaceX’s third rideshare mission.
33. SpaceX Starlink 6-74
SpaceX’s Starlink 6-74 mission lifted off at 9:52 p.m. April 24 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Space Force’s 45th Weather Squadron had pegged the odds of “go for launch” weather at greater than 95%, citing a warm, dry weather pattern at the spaceport.
34. SpaceX Starlink 12-23
SpaceX launched the latest batch of internet satellites at 10:09 p.m. on April 27 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40. The liftoff time was pushed back by 49 minutes, a rarity for a rocket launch.
35. ULA Amazon Project Kuiper KA-01
A ULA Atlas V with five solid rocket boosters lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 7:01 p.m. April 28 carrying Amazon’s first production batch of Project Kuiper satellites into low-Earth orbit.
36. SpaceX Starlink 12-10
Hours after ULA’s first Project Kuiper production launch on April 28, SpaceX’s sprawling Starlink constellation — the undisputed global satellite internet leader — added 23 more satellites via a 10:34 p.m. Falcon 9 launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
37. SpaceX Starlink 6-75
The Starlink 6-75 mission launched into partly cloudy skies on 9:51 p.m. on May 1 from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. It was the 18th flight of the first-stage booster.
38. SpaceX Starlink 6-84
SpaceX boosted its carrying capacity of Starlink internet-beaming satellites to 29 during a predawn Falcon 9 rocket liftoff at 4:54 a.m. May 4, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
39. SpaceX Starlink 6-93
Just one day after Cinco de Mayo, Florida’s Space Coast racked up its 39th orbital rocket launch of the year with another SpaceX Starlink nighttime liftoff at 9:17 p.m. May 6 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
40. SpaceX Starlink 6-91
Hours after the National Weather Service issued flood advisories for portions of rain-socked North Brevard, skies cleared and SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 at 2:28 a.m. May 10 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
41: SpaceX Starlink 6-83
After a previous scrub, SpaceX finally launched a Falcon 9 rocket on a record breaking mission. Lifting off at 1:02 a.m. on May 13 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A, the rocket’s first-stage saw its 28th launch and landing.
42. SpaceX Starlink 6-67
For the first time in more than six weeks, SpaceX launched a rocket during daylight hours from Florida’s Space Coast at 12:38 p.m. May 14 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — snapping a string of 14 consecutive company liftoffs cloaked in nighttime darkness.
43. SpaceX Starlink 12-15
A brand new Falcon 9 booster took to the night sky on a Starlink delivery mission at 11:19 p.m. on May 20 from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40. The launch came after an auto abort caused a scrub the previous night.

Lifting off the pad hours before summerlike showers and thunderstorms were expected to strike, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched on another Starlink mission at 1:19 p.m. May 24 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

A SpaceX rocket launched at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. Upon lift off, the rocket headed on a northeast trajectory. It delivered the next batch of 27 Starlink satellites.

Dodging raindrops, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket bolted off the pad on a Space Force mission at 1:37 p.m. May 30 shortly after a wave of thunderstorms and showers soaked Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and surrounding areas.
47. SpaceX Starlink 12-19
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched on a Starlink mission as a weather system formed offshore. While the system was predicted to be a low threat of formation, it was clear hurricane season had begun. Lifting off at 12:43 a.m. on June 3 from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40, the launch was the latest batch of 23 Starlink satellites.
48. SpaceX SiriusXM SXM-10
After an evening sequence of lightning delays and towering clouds, SpaceX crews waited until 12:54 a.m. June 7 to launch SiriusXM’s latest geostationary satellite from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
49. SpaceX Starlink 12-24
On a bright Space Coast morning, SpaceX launched the latest batch of 23 Starlink satellites. The Falcon 9 rocket launched at 9:05 a.m. on June 10 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Coming at a relevant time, the booster had previously flown the Polaris Dawn mission. The Starlink 12-24 mission launched before the planned Axiom Mission 4, which was postponed a day due to poor weather.
50. SpaceX Starlink 12-26
The 50th orbital rocket launch of 2025 from Florida’s Space Coast streaked across the morning sky at 11:29 a.m. June 13 — Friday the 13th — from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
51. SpaceX Starlink 10-18
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocketed from Cape Canaveral northeastward over the Atlantic Ocean in the early morning darkness at 1:55 a.m. June 18, propelling another payload of 28 Starlink broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
52. SpaceX Starlink 10-23
Kicking off the workweek with an action-packed morning, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station hosted two rocket launches within four hours and 46 minutes on June 23. First, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket at 1:58 a.m., deployed 27 Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.
53. ULA Amazon Project Kuiper 2
After SpaceX’s Starlink 10-23 liftoff, United Launch Alliance launched an Atlas V rocket sporting five solid rocket boosters at 6:54 a.m. June 23 on Amazon’s second Project Kuiper internet constellation mission.
54. SpaceX-Axiom Space Mission 4 (Ax-4)
After multiple delays, the fourth astronaut crew of Axiom Space finally took off for the International Space Station at 2:31 a.m. June 25. It was the first flight of a brand new SpaceX Dragon, which was named Grace.
55. SpaceX Starlink 10-16
After weather delays throughout the afternoon, the second launch of the day took off at 3:54 p.m. June 25 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The payload was 27 Starlink internet satellites.
56. SpaceX Starlink 10-34
Hours after meteorologists issued severe thunderstorm warnings and special weather statements across Central Florida, SpaceX crews launched a Falcon 9 rocket under fair skies with 10-mile visibility at 12:26 a.m. June 28 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying 27 Starlink broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit.
57. SpaceX ESA MTG-S1
The first of a potential doubleheader saw SpaceX launch the EUMETSAT MTG-S1 weather satellite for the European Space Agency (ESA). The liftoff occurred at 5:04 p.m. July 1 from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A, just head of stormy weather.
58. SpaceX Starlink 10-25
The Starlink 10-25 mission lifted off at 2:28 a.m. July 2 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The payload was 27 Starlink internet satellites. The second of a doubleheader, it was also a record-breaking 29th launch and landing for the booster.
59. SpaceX Starlink 10-28
SpaceX’s Starlink 10-28 mission lifted off at 4:21 a.m. July 8 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, deploying 28 Starlink communications satellites into low-Earth orbit.
60. SpaceX Commercial GTO-1
The SpaceX Commercial GTO-mission lifted off at 1:04 a.m. July 13 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The payload was a communications satellite for Israel.
61. SpaceX Amazon Project Kuiper KF-01
At 2:30 a.m. July 16, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket executed the company’s first-ever launch of Amazon Project Kuiper satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
62. SpaceX SES O3b mPOWER 9 and 10
After a waning-second scrub the previous day, SpaceX successfully launched a pair of SES O3b mPOWER satellites into medium-Earth orbit at 5:12 p.m. July 22 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
63. SpaceX Starlink 10-26
SpaceX launched a batch of 28 Starlink satellites on the morning of July 26. The 5:01 a.m. launch caught early sunlight and put on a brief “jellyfish” effect.
64. SpaceX Starlink 10-29
SpaceX launched the latest batch of Starlink internet satellites at 11:37 p.m. July 29 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
65. NASA SpaceX Crew-11
On August 1, SpaceX launched the 11th crew for NASA from Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. The 11:43 a.m. launch came the day after an initial weather scrub, and took off just ahead of upcoming clouds.
66. SpaceX Starlink 12-30
SpaceX launched its latest batch of 28 Starlink satellites after multiple delays due to a lightning storm over Cape Canaveral. The liftoff occurred at 3:57 a.m. August 4 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
67. SpaceX Amazon Project Kuiper KF-02
After a string of unsuccessful attempts, SpaceX finally launched Amazon’s latest batch of 24 Project Kuiper satellites into low-Earth orbit at 8:35 a.m. Aug. 11 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
68. ULA USSF-106
At 8:56 p.m. Aug. 12, a United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on the USSF-106 mission.
69. SpaceX Starlink 10-20
On the morning of Thursday, Aug. 14, SpaceX launched the Starlink 10-20 mission. The latest batch of 28 internet satellites took off at 8:29 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
70. SpaceX USSF-36/OTV-8
SpaceX launched the X-37B Space Force space plane at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 21 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. The uncrewed space plane was seeing its eighth mission − during which it would test new GPS and communication technology.
71. SpaceX NASA CRS-33
The skies over the Cape cleared, and at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, SpaceX launched the CRS-33 mission for NASA. The launch delivered over 5,000 lbs. of supplies and science to the ISS. It was the 33rd NASA resupply mission by SpaceX and also marked the 50th SpaceX Dragon mission.
72. SpaceX Starlink 10-56
Twelve minutes after sunrise, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket rose amid colorful clouds from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 7:10 a.m. Aug. 27 before deploying 28 Starlink satellites.
73. SpaceX Starlink 10-11
A SpaceX Falcon 9 booster notched the record-breaking 30th launch and landing of an orbital class rocket after lifting off at 4:12 a.m. Aug. 28 from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
74. SpaceX Starlink 10-14
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket took off 7:49 a.m. Aug. 31 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Labor Day weekend mission was the latest batch of SpaceX’s Starlink internet satellites.
75. SpaceX Starlink 10-22
On Wednesday, Sept. 3, SpaceX launched its latest batch of 28 Starlink internet satellites. Liftoff occurred at 7:56 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
76. SpaceX Starlink 10-57
On the morning of Sept. 5, SpaceX launched the latest batch of 28 Starlink internet satellites. The liftoff occurred 8:32 a.m. from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A.
77. SpaceX Nusantara Lima
On Sept. 11, SpaceX launched an Indonesian telecom satellite — Nusantara Lima — into geosynchronous transfer orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 9:56 p.m., the final remaining minute in the window.
78. NASA SpaceX NG-23
On the evening of Sept. 14, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched a Northrop Grumman Cygnus XL spacecraft on a resupply mission for NASA to the International Space Station. The mission marked the first of Northrop Grumman’s new Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft. After the liftoff, the Falcon 9’s booster landed at Cape Canaveral Landing Zone 2, giving off a Space Coast sonic boom.
79. SpaceX Starlink 10-61
About 1½ hours before sunrise, SpaceX sent a Falcon 9 rocket into flight on another Starlink mission at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 18 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
80. SpaceX Starlink 10-27
On the morning of Sunday, Sept. 21, SpaceX launched its latest batch of 28 Starlink internet satellites. The launch occurred just before sunrise, at 6:53 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station − giving off a ‘jellyfish’ effect.
81. SpaceX NASA IMAP
Launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, the NASA IMAP mission took off at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 24 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Pad 39A. Also onboard this rideshare mission were NASA’s Carruthers Geocorona Observatory as well as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s SWFO-L1.
82. SpaceX Starlink 10-15
Kicking off a Sept. 25 morning launch doubleheader, SpaceX sent up a Falcon 9 at 4:39 a.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on another Starlink mission.
83. ULA Kuiper 3
Three and a half hours after the Starlink 10-15 liftoff, United Launch Alliance launched an Atlas V rocket at 8:09 a.m. from the Space Force installation. The rocket carried 27 satellites for the Amazon Project Kuiper broadband constellation.
84. SpaceX Starlink 10-59
After weather paused launches for over a week, a SpaceX Falcon 9 broke the launch drought. The liftoff occurred at 2:46 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch also coincided with the Harvest supermoon.
85. SpaceX Amazon Project Kuiper KF-03
After a Starship launch from Texas put on a preshow in the skies over Florida, SpaceX finally launched the KF-03 mission. Delayed three days prior due to weather in the Atlantic Ocean, the rocket finally took off at 9:58 p.m. Oct. 13 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
86. SpaceX Starlink 10-52
SpaceX notched the landmark 500th landing of a Falcon 9 rocket on Oct. 16 during an early morning Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The rocket lifted off at 5:27 a.m., two hours before sunrise.
87. SpaceX Starlink 10-17
SpaceX Starlink 10-17 mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station featured a Falcon 9 rocket booster’s record-shattering 31st launch and landing. The Falcon 9 took flight at 1:39 p.m. Oct. 19 from Launch Complex 40 en route to deploying 28 Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.
88. SpaceX SpainSat NG-II
The second of two SpainSat NG (New Generation) satellites was launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This satellite comes in addition to the first, which was launched in January 2025.

As showered rolled through the Space Coast the morning of Sun. Oct. 26, SpaceX launched a Starlink mission which saw a yearly record broken for the Falcon 9 rocket − 136 launches. This put the yearly Falcon 9 launch rate at more flights than NASA’s space shuttle saw during its 30-year history.
90. SpaceX Starlink 10-37
After an initial delay, SpaceX launched Florida’s 90th rocket of the year. The liftoff occurred 12:35 p.m. Oct. 29 from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
91. SpaceX Bandwagon-4
SpaceX’s Bandwagon-4 rideshare mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station lifted off at 1:09 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. The Falcon 9 rocket deployed 18 payloads into low-Earth orbit, and the first-stage booster sparked sonic booms by returning to Landing Zone 2.
92. SpaceX Starlink 6-81
The SpaceX Starlink 6-81 mission lifted off at 8:31 p.m. Nov. 5 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, lifting 29 Starlink internet satellites to orbit — and from the vantage point of Space Coast spectators, appeared to fly right over the moon.
93. SpaceX Starlink 10-51
After a Saturday morning scrub attributed to bad downrange weather, SpaceX launched 29 more Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
94. SpaceX Starlink 6-87
On the night of Nov. 10, SpaceX launched Florida’s record-breaking rocket − setting the stage for a much higher yearly record. The Falcon 9 lifted off right on time at 10:21 p.m., despite wind gusts and cold weather. The mission sent 29 Starlink internet satellites to orbit.
95. Blue Origin NASA ESCAPADE
On its second-ever launch, a Blue Origin New Glenn rocket lifted off Nov. 13 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, deployed NASA’s Mars-bound ESCAPADE spacecraft, and scored its first booster landing atop a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
96. ULA Atlas V ViaSat-3 Flight 2
A ULA Atlas V rocket bolted off the pad under five solid rocket engines, carrying a powerful broadband communications satellite for Viasat to orbit. The launch was a second in a rare doubleheader launch day − which involved rockets other than SpaceX.
97. SpaceX Starlink 6-89
A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched at 10:08 p.m. Nov. 14 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to kick off a doubleheader liftoff evening. The rocket later deployed 29 Starlink satellites.
98. SpaceX Starlink 6-85
Lighting up the night, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket completed an overnight Starlink launch doubleheader by lifting off at 1:44 a.m. Nov. 15 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
99. SpaceX Starlink 6-94
Florida’s 99th orbital rocket launch of the year is in the books, courtesy of another SpaceX Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Falcon 9 rocket launched at 7:12 p.m. Nov. 18 on the Starlink 6-94 mission, illuminating the clear nighttime Space Coast sky.
100. SpaceX Starlink 6-78
On the night of Nov. 20, SpaceX launched Florida’s 100th rocket of the year. The Falcon 9 rocket carried 29 Starlink internet satellites to low Earth orbit.
101. SpaceX Starlink 6-79
For the second night in a row, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 29 Starlink satellites. The early Nov. 22 mission took off 2:53 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
102. SpaceX Starlink 6-86
SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket during early morning hours at 2:44 a.m. Dec. 1. The SpaceX Starlink 6-86 mission rose along a southeasterly trajectory, then deployed 29 Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit after launching from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
