A Pensacola man pleaded guilty to federal drug possession charges with the intention of distributing thousands of grams of illegal substances, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced July 22.

“I applaud the excellent work of the Pensacola Police Department and our federal DEA agents to make our community safer by getting this dangerous individual off the streets,” U.S. Attorney John Heekin said.

PPD and DEA agents executed a search warrant at McGee’s home in September 2024 and found over 600 grams of cocaine, 300 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol, 1,000 grams of marijuana, $32,000 in cash and four firearms.

McGee faces a minimum of five years in federal prison for each charge, according to a release. He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 1.
