Pair of Dolphins crack top-10 rookie jersey sales after one week

The Miami Dolphins left the 2026 NFL draft with 13 rookies, whom general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley hope will make an impact and serve as building blocks for the future.

While some of Miami’s selections were criticized heavily, Dolphins fans seem to be very excited about a pair of rookies – cornerback Chris Johnson (first-round pick) and linebacker Jacob Rodriguez (second-round pick).

According to FOX, Johnson and Rodriguez are already in the top 10 highest-selling rookie jerseys just one week from the draft.

The other rookies included were Dallas Cowboys safety Caleb Downs, Cowboys defensive end Malachi Lawrence, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Drew Allar, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love, Patriots offensive tackle Caleb Lomu, Chicago Bears safety Dillon Thieneman and New York Jets defensive end David Bailey.

Neither Johnson nor Rodriguez has had their official numbers announced by the team yet, so many fans are probably waiting until then, but it’s clear that a good portion of the fan base can’t wait to show their support for their rookies.
