Nominations are officially open for The Daytona Beach News-Journal’s 20th Annual Women in Business Awards, to be presented in October.
The News-Journal is calling on area companies to submit nominations for women making a difference in the community, whether it’s by breaking barriers, building a business or giving back in other powerful ways.
For two decades, the Women in Business Awards have honored over 500 extraordinary women who have shaped our community through leadership, innovation, and service. Past winners represent trailblazers, changemakers, entrepreneurs and the everyday heroes who uplift Volusia and Flagler counties.
Nominations will be accepted through July 31. Please note that multiple nominations will not affect the selection process.
All nominees will receive an automated response with a questionnaire to complete by Aug. 1. A high-resolution headshot also is required for each nominee to ensure accurate information for our selection process and a special published feature following the event.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal 20th Annual Women in Business Awards will be presented Oct. 28 at the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel, 640 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.
There will be a Mix & Mingle at 11 a.m., followed by Celebration Luncheon at noon.
