With more than 150 hotels in 30 states, Drury Hotels now has one in the Destin area.
The newly opened Drury Inn & Suites in Miramar Beach, just east of Destin at 50 Ponce de Leon St., marks the sixth one in the state.
The Drury Inn & Suites features 116 guest suites with in-room kitchens and is just minutes away from the beach, Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Grand Boulevard and multiple restaurants.
Hotel guests can enjoy free amenities, including a hot breakfast, Drury’s signature 5:30 Kickback, featuring dinnertime snacks and drinks, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, according to a news release.
“We look forward to welcoming guests to the Emerald Coast,” Chuck Drury, CEO of Drury Hotels, said in a news release.
“This hotel makes it easy for guests to enjoy the region’s state parks, white sand beaches, waterfront dining, shopping and more. Our team is eager to greet guests with warm welcomes, providing Drury’s award-winning hospitality and a comfortable, memorable stay,” Drury said.
Beach state parks in the area include Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and Grayton Beach State Park in South Walton.
Other hotel amenities included an outdoor pool and patio, fitness center, free on-site parking, a Guest Market and 24-hour coffee service in the lobby.
The new hotel employs 25 full-time and part-time team members with general manager Joshua Hager leading the team.
On the horizon
Drury Hotels is also constructing a Drury Plaza Hotel in Destin.
This hotel will be in the heart of Destin at 1001 U.S. 98 near Big Kahuna’s Waterpark.
It will feature 320 rooms, a resort-style swimming pool, on-site dining, 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, amenities and more.
