Following two straight night races, the NASCAR Cup Series returned to the usual on June 7 at Michigan International Speedway.
The FireKeepers Casino 400 went green at 3 p.m. and finished in the daylight. At the end, the sun was shining on Denny Hamlin.
Hamlin put his No. 11 Toyota in Victory Lane, leading 40 of the 200 laps. He beat runner-up Erik Jones and third-place finisher Bubba Wallace to the finish line. It marked his third points-paying win of the 2026 season.
The race was the third of five in a row to air on Amazon Prime Video. It was the lone event of the year at Michigan.
