The Miami Dolphins have lost guard/tackle Jamaree Salyer for the season, placing him on injured reserve.
Salyer was expected to be Miami’s top reserve offensive lineman, after signing away from the Chargers.
This makes the addition of tackle/guard Caedan Wallace, in a recent trade with the Patriots, even more important.
Miami also re-signed undrafted rookie quarterback Mark Gronowski. Backups Quinn Ewers and Cam Miller struggled in Miami’s preseason opener.
Ewers has a groin strain, according to a league source.
Gronowski’s best strength may be his ability to run.
Miami also signed former Florida State linebacker Cam Riley and waived/injured cornerback Ethan Robinson.
