The Miami Dolphins still have weeks to go before the start of their first season under new head coach Jeff Hafley, but they’ve already lost one of their free-agent additions for the season.
Miami announced several roster moves on Sunday, including the placement of offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer on injured reserve. They signed Salyer to compete for a starting guard spot, but Hafley revealed that he’d miss some time on Saturday.
The other loss for the Dolphins comes in the secondary, as they’ve waived cornerback Ethan Robinson with an injury designation. If he passes through waivers unclaimed, he’ll revert back to injured reserve and will miss the season as well.
To fill those two spots on the 91-man roster, Miami brought back quarterback Mark Gronowski, who the signed as an undrafted free agent this year and had waived this month. They also signed linebacker Cam Riley.
Riley spent time with the rival New England Patriots last year.
