The FSView & Florida Flambeau underwent a pivotal transition during the 2025-2026 school year, with the newspaper’s weekly print edition being canceled. Adapting to this change, the FSView has transformed into a true digital-forward outlet dedicated to informing Florida State University students about their community.
The FSView’s new editor board for the 2026-2027 school year is dedicated to continuing on this trajectory. The editorial board will be spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Justice Ulrich and Managing Editor Salette Cambra.
Ulrich, a rising junior majoring in finance, brings with her a year’s worth of experience leading the FSView in the position of Managing Editor for the 2025-2026 school year.
“The student talent that makes up the FSView & Florida Flambeau has helped the publication and me grow and develop immensely,” Ulrich said. “Being in the masthead will continue to give me a unique perspective into the FSView’s passion for informing the FSU and Tallahassee communities. I’m honored and elated to lead the remarkable team that continues to inspire and teach me every day.”
Cambra comes from a sports background, having served as Deputy Sports Editor for the FSView during the 2025-2026 school year. She also co-led the FSView’s Spanish translation effort, launched in the spring of 2026. She is a rising senior majoring in English.
“Working within the FSView & Florida Flambeau has been the most transformative part of my time at FSU. Having served on the editorial board this past year, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication it takes to keep this publication thriving,” Cambra said. “Stepping into the Managing Editor role is an incredible honor, and I am eager to help lead our talented staff and ensure the FSView remains a space where student journalists can grow, innovate, and tell the stories that define the Tallahassee community.”
With Ulrich and Cambra’s helm, the FSView is equipped with the experience and leadership needed to have an impact on the lives of FSU students.
New FSView initiatives to look forward to
In the coming 2026-2027 school year, you can expect more initiatives from the FSView geared toward making information more accessible and impactful for the student body.
Starting in the fall of 2026, the FSView will have a desk of team members from across the newsroom dedicated to investigative journalism. This team will work to dig deep into subjects that are of interest to the student body and have heavy implications.
“Every day, there are significant stories in Tallahassee that go unheard,” Ulrich said. “The FSView’s Investigative Team will spend more time delving into the stories our community wants to give a voice to.”

In addition, the FSView is seeking to form republication agreements with other student-run news outlets. Already, the FSView has formed a republication agreement with the Florida Student News Watch, a student-focused online news outlet dedicated to environmental news.
“Tallahassee is bigger than just our campus, and we want our coverage to reflect that diversity,” Cambra said. “By partnering with other publications, we’re bringing important reporting and community stories to our readers that might otherwise go unnoticed. These collaborations allow us to cross borders and share stories from our neighbors that FSU students need to hear, giving them access to the depth and breadth of information they deserve.”
