Tipping the scales at 63 pounds, Lil Girl is not, well, little, but she’s a female who loves treats, time on the couch and, of course, retail therapy. Recently her doggy date took her shopping, and Lil Girl returned wearing a girly outfit ― a pink top with a skirt with pastel polka dots. Oh, and she had a pink bag filled with goodies. Her “date” completed a report card and mentioned “sweet” and “good dog.” Leash walks are a dream, even with kitty encounters. Lil Girl will execute a flirty wiggle butt to show her happy demeanor. She’s the ideal age ― 4, the sweet spot between puppyhood and seniorhood. Stop by so Lil Girl can model her new outfit before you take her home.

Tyson

Breed: Chihuahua/Mixed Breed

Gender: Male

Weight: 20 ½ -pounds

Age: 7 years

Orphaned Since: Jan. 24

Adoption Fee: $250

Stop by SPCA Florida’s Happy Tails small dog area to meet Tyson. Not the boxer, Mike Tyson, or a bucket of finger-lickin’ chicken. Tyson, the Chihuahua mix, isn’t a fighter and doesn’t eat a lot of chicken. His playbook consists of, well, play, followed by chilling on the couch for cuddles. If you don’t get his message (time to walk followed by R and R to decompress), he’ll “talk” to you while wagging his tail. A harness should be a component of his outdoor, dog-exploration attire to keep him comfy from a collapsed trachea. His outgoing nature will win you over so don’t hesitate to adopt him today.

Flora

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Gender: Female

Weight: 8 pounds

Age: 1 year

Orphaned Since: Nov. 24

Adoption Fee: $125

There’s a brown tabby named Flora at the Orlando Cat Café who, like most felines, is affectionate and outgoing, especially once she sheds her shyness when confronted with unfamiliar people and settings. One way to fast-track the getting-to-know-her process is to offer gentle scratches on her ears and neck. That’ll win her love and loyalty. Since she originally landed at SPCA Florida from Polk County Animal Control, her first year of life is a mystery. But you can create a history with Flora by inviting her to her forever home: https://www.orlandocatcafe.com.

Sammy

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Gender: Male

Weight: 10 pounds

Age: 11 ½ years

Orphaned Since: Aug. 15

Adoption Fee: $75

Three months ago, Sammy, the domestic shorthair cat, made a New Year’s Resolution: to travel on a one-way trip to his forever home and family. Sammy’s patient, still waiting to fulfil that resolution. Even at 11 years old, Sammy still has a lot of spunk and sass in his playlist. Even though he’s compatible with other cats, his friend circle is limited since he’s FELV+. Sammy’s in the Gungha Din Cattery at SPCA Florida’s Adoption Center. He’s waiting for you and perhaps his fave, chicken treats, to help him cross off that resolution from his to-do list.
