A 19-year-old man died on the morning of Aug. 27 after being shot at a Lake Park apartment complex, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
The office said it is investigating the death of Quantavis Bellamy as a homicide.
Deputies found Bellamy suffering from gunshot wounds shortly before 10:30 p.m. Aug. 26 when deputies responded to the 700 block of Venice Circle, within the San Marco Villas along Congress Avenue.
Bellamy died at a hospital about three hours later, the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives are investigating and have not released any details regarding what led to the shooting. It was not immediately clear whether Bellamy lived at the San Marco Villas.
