Maggie McFly’s opened its Port St. Lucie restaurant on April 14, making this the national chain’s second location in Florida and 10th on the East Coast.
The Veranda Falls restaurant on Becker Road has an extensive menu with inspiration from all types of cuisines, including Asian, Mexican, American and more. (Scroll down for the menu.)
Owner Ray Harper said he decides on what to add to the menu when he sees a growing trend or he eats something delicious. He also partners with local bakers and creameries for unique sweet treats.
Maggie McFly’s is now open in Port St. Lucie
The restaurant’s decor features modern lighting, orange leather, dark wood, dark green accents, and liquor bottles. Large windows, high ceilings and opening doors brighten the interior, letting in plenty of sunlight during the day. At night, there are glowing lights inside and an elevated fire pit with elevated seats outside.
Although all Maggie McFly restaurants have the same decor, Harper said the Port St. Lucie building is especially beautiful because of added lighting on the exterior and an outdoor stream with a waterfall.
And he’s getting flashbacks to his first restaurant in Middlebury, Connecticut, because of how similar the city is to Port St. Lucie and how both cities’ residents were so excited about his new restaurants opening.
There are five Maggie McFly’s restaurants in Connecticut, two in Virginia and one in New York.
