It’s that time of the year when baseball fans flock to Florida to catch MLB spring training. That includes West Palm Beach, where the Houston Astros play their preseason games.
CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches hosts the Astros, who missed the playoffs for the first time since 2016. They were in contention late in the season for the AL West Division title but folded. There are some new faces, especially on the pitching staff where Kai-Wei Teng and Ryan Weiss, who both pitched overseas last season, and Mike Burrows (Pirates) have been added. Jose Altuve is back but look for Houston to swing some deals before the season starts.
With Joe Espada entering his third season as manager, Houston will open its 2026 spring training schedule on Saturday afternoon. The Astros will play 15 games in West Palm Beach, but several in Jupiter against the Marlins and Cardinals. Here’s what to know about Astros spring training in 2026, including the home schedule, how to buy tickets and this year’s ballpark promotions.
