Nearly 26,000 Xfinity users reported issues with the Comcast service Monday afternoon, June 22, according to DownDetector. The issues were affecting Lee County residents.
Some Comcast customers reported they weren’t able to access the Xfinity app to check outages in the area.
The major problems consumers are reporting are 80 percent TV issues, 10 percent broadband internet issues and 8 percent TV streaming, per DownDetector.
Various iterations of “Is Xfinity down?” and “Comcast customer service” are trending nationwide on Google, as users continue to report issues.

Thousands of Xfinity customers are reporting outages nationwide, according to DownDetector, Google Trends and social media posts.
DownDetector has received 25,666 reports as of 4:32 p.m. June 22. The baseline reports for issues is 28.
A Comcast spokesperson confirmed the disruption with Xfinity was fixed by 6 p.m. “Our customers are now up and running after a very brief interruption to their services due to a system update. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the statement read.
