1. SATURDAY: Wandering Goat at Riptide Brewing
Grumpy Goat Coffee’s next Wandering Goat event is from 3 until 7 p.m., Saturday, June 27, at Riptide Brewing, 28120 Hunters Ridge Blvd., Bonita Springs.
The event sees a new direction for the annual summer series, shifting the focus of the events toward building awareness about the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT) initiative. Three craft coffee beer collaborations between Riptide and Grumpy Goat will be available.

2. STARTS WEDNESDAY: ‘Les Miserables’ at Naples Players
See the timeless musical centered around Jean Valjean, a resilient man during the time of the French Revolution. From June 24 through July 26.

3. THIS WEEKEND: Everglades City Independence Day Celebration
The 250th anniversary of America’s birthday kicks off in Southwest Florida early in Everglades City. Head to the town at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 27, for opening ceremonies at McLeod Park, at Copeland Avenue and Hibiscus Street West.
Other events planned for that day include a parade immediately following opening ceremonies and a fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. Check out vendor booths, food, drinks, raffles and more.
