The Jupiter Town Council may soon decide whether to give final approval to a proposed residential development that could bring as many as 99 single-family homes to one of the town’s last vacant parcels.
The Pulte Home Co. is seeking to build the homes on what Jupiter records call Beacon Park, at the northeast corner of Indiantown and Interstate 95. The neighborhood would border the Rialto and Limestone Creek communities near Jupiter Community Park.

The Town Council gave an initial approval April 7 to map and land-use changes that will allow Pulte to build homes on 23.4 acres on the west side of Island Way, an area now intended for industry. The council previously gave preliminary approval for residential construction on the east side of Island.
The changes and a proposed site plan for the homes are pending final approval by the Town Council.
Where will the homes be located?
Pulte is seeking to build on vacant parcels of land to the east and west of Island Way, north of Indiantown Road and east of I-95. The builder wants to build 56 single-family homes on 34.3 acres on the east side of Island, and 43 homes west of Island, including 12 properties designated as workforce housing.
Who owns the land?
Crossroads 6101 LLC, bought the property for $11 million in 2016, Palm Beach County property records show.
What was previously proposed for the site?
The Beacon Park site previously was earmarked for industry as part of local efforts to lure to northern Palm Beach County more businesses similar to the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology campus in Abacoa.
A board that governed that effort was disbanded in 2024, and Jupiter’s planning board endorsed a hybrid approach for the land, recommending using the 34.3 acres east of Island Way for single-family homes, while keeping the industrial designation for the other half.
When will the final vote take place?
The Town Council will next meet on Tuesday, April 21, but the Beacon Park project is not listed on the agenda for that meeting. The council will hear a first reading for proposed land use and zoning changes that would allow for the construction of a new campus for the Jupiter Christian School. If approved, the new campus would be to the south of Beacon Park, on the southern side of Indiantown Road.
Jupiter has not yet posted its agenda for the Town Council meeting scheduled for May 5.
