Let’s break down who the Jacksonville Jaguars selected in the latest seven-round 2026 NFL mock draft from Pro Football Focus.
Although the Jaguars do not have a first-round pick in this year’s draft after trading it away to move up for Travis Hunter in last year’s draft, GM James Gladstone does maintain a fair amount of flexibility with 11 picks in total, including four in the top 100.
TJ Randall of Pro Football Network constructed this latest mock, so let’s take a look at who the Jaguars ended up picking.
Jacksonville Jaguars 2026 NFL mock draft selections
Taking Tiernan and Bentley would more so be long-term plays by the Jaguars. Offensive tackle and tight end aren’t big needs in 2026, given who is under contract, but with several potential free agents from those positions in 2027, these picks help Jacksonville plan ahead in that regard.
Defensive tackle should be one of the more pressing needs for the Jaguars to address. Corleone has made his biggest impact in the run game. Jacksonville needs more pass-rush juice up front.
At the end of the day, the draft is about adding good players, but with Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Travis Hunter, I think that top 100 pick could have been used on another position instead of wide receiver.
Cornerback is among the top needs for the Jaguars. Montaric Brown and Greg Newsome are both free agents.
I could see the Jaguars adding a developmental quarterback at some point this offseason, but in Round 5? That I’m not sure of.
If Travis Etienne heads elsewhere in free agency, bolstering the running back depth will become a need. And as we near the end of this mock draft, the Jaguars have made two wide receiver selections, but none at defensive end and only one at defensive tackle. I don’t see that happening.
With Andrew Wingard a free agent, safety depth could be addressed. The same goes for linebacker, particularly if Devin Lloyd heads elsewhere. If without Lloyd, Jacksonville should look to add to the linebacker spot way before pick No. 233.
Then, to close things out, the Jaguars take a third wide receiver in this mock — yet the defensive line has one total addition. Not to be repetitive, but this feels backwards. I’ll also add that cornerback could be a position where the Jaguars double-dip.
