Eating out in Palm Beach is now a bargain — at least relative to high season in the late fall, winter and spring. Why? It’s summer — dining-deal season.
Along with tasty and in some cases award-winning fare, restaurants in town now are offering deals — everything from buy-one-get-one entrées to nice-price prix-fixe menus and extended happy hours.
With fewer diners afoot as seasonal residents summer elsewhere, restaurants aim to thank year-round patrons and entice newcomers.
Take advantage of the deals before they evaporate by around late September.
PB CATCH

Order dinner by 6:30 p.m. at your table in the dining room and a BOGO entrée is in play at this seafood restaurant and raw bar also serving meat, poultry and vegan dishes.
For every paid entrée in your party (whether you’re a twosome or foursome, say), an entrée of equal or lesser value is free.
The nightly buy-one-get-one cannot be combined with other offers, such as half-priced oysters on Thursdays.
Still, BOGO savings add up. Regular dinner-menu prices range from around $25 for a prime-grade cheeseburger with fries to $64 for two lobster tails served with drawn butter.
Favorites include seafood bouillabaisse ($48) and pan-seared Chilean sea bass ($58) served with caramelized Brussels sprouts, glazed baby carrots and beech mushrooms.
Buccan

One of Buccan’s most popular seasonal specials has returned for summer: Sunday fried-chicken dinners.
The summer special is $38—a feast with a fried breast, leg, thigh and wing, plus mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens, BBQ baked beans and a jalapeño-cheddar biscuit.
Think moist-and-juicy chicken that’s crispy on the outside and all-around finger-lickin’ good thanks to a recipe acclaimed Buccan chef/co-owner Clay Conley conceived and perfected.
Salute

This Bice Group restaurant featuring an Italian-leaning Mediterranean menu now offers a 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. happy hour with 50% off menu favorites.
At the happy hour (called Aperitivo Hour here), look for such items as crispy fried zucchini flowers with stracciatella, white anchovy, tomato ragù and basil oil; veal meatballs in white wine and oregano-tomato jus with potato fondant; and layered pasta with basil pesto, béchamel, garden vegetables and parmigiano fondue.
In addition to happy hour, Salute offers multicourse summer tasting menus: a five-course menu for $58 and a seven-course menu for $78.
Le Bilboquet

On weekdays, lunch at this French bistro with via courtyard and dining-room seating is now a relative bargain: three courses for $45.
Be sure to look stylish if you dine here; flip-flips and gym wear are “mon dieu!” no-nos.
The summertime lunch prix-fixe, available in addition to Bilbo’s regular menus, features a choice of crudo du jour or whole artichoke with Dijon vinaigrette, followed by a choice of branzino or half-order of Le Bilboquet’s ever-popular poulet Cajun.
A scoop of sorbet is dessert with the prix-fixe summer lunch menu.
Sant Ambroeus
340 Royal Poinciana Way
With a look inspired by the “gran caffè” culture of 1950s Italy, Sant Ambroeus is featuring a summer prix-fixe menu along with its regular menus highlighting traditional Milanese and contemporary dishes.
Offered Sundays through Thursdays, the summer prix-fixe dinner menu offers three courses, plus a complimentary glass of wine, for $75.
Sant Ambroeus includes a main dining room, casual-seating bar, coffee bar, gelateria and outdoor seating.
Bice
313 1/2 Worth Ave.
A selection of antipasti, pasta dishes, entrées and beverages carry reduced prices in the bar and lounge during summer happy hour at this chic Italian restaurant.
Daily happy hour currently is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and many items are 30% to 50% below regular pricing.
For instance, during happy hour, penne arrabbiata is $17; the popular pappardelle al telefono is $18; grilled King salmon is $25; and veal scallopini al limone is $25.
Calamari fritti or vitello tonnato? $15 and $16, respectively, during happy hour. Look for desserts, too.
Acqua Café
2875 S. Ocean Blvd.
Two-for-one cocktails, beer and wines by the glass are on tap for the summer daily happy hour, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Acqua Café, which is a sister to Palm Beach’s acclaimed Renato’s and Pizza al Fresco.
But it’s not just drinks that are discounted during happy at Acqua, which has built a following since it opened in 2020.
Pizzas are half off, plus there’s 25 percent off the entire dinner menu.
On Wednesdays, select bottles of wine are 50 percent off all night.
Cucina
257 Royal Poinciana Way
This dinner restaurant and late-night hot spot offers takeout-and-delivery deals during summer.
What are they? A dozen chicken wings ($12) on Wednesdays and served with house wing sauce and blue cheese-ranch sipping sauce), plus half off Cucina’s popular chicken-dish pollo parm (served with pasta) on Thursdays.
There’s more: Buy-one-get-one griddler burgers with fries are the takeout/delivery deal on Fridays while Cucina’s fettuccini Bolognese-for-two meal with a bottle of wine is $25.
On Sundays, $80 buys a dinner serving four people: spaghetti and meatballs, a loaf of Italian sourdough ciabatta bread and Caesar salad.
For delivery, Cucina uses UberEats and DoorDash.
Café ĽEurope
331 S. County Road
If you’re a wine enthusiast, summer is a fine time to visit dinner-restaurant Café L’Europe.
Several bottles are $45.
For sparkling rosé, look for such labels as Hampton Water, a rosé wine that’s a collaboration between Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse, plus French winemaker Gérard Bertrand.
For Champagne, Café L’Europe offers its special prices on Canard-Duchêne Brut; and for white wines, Frank Family Chardonnay from California, among other selections.
Red wines? Try such labels as Dueling Pistols, White Cottage Estate, True Grit and Rosso di Montalcino.
Meat Market

Prime-grade steak for half off at a “sexy” Palm Beach steakhouse?
Every Sunday this summer at Meat Market, selections of “specialty” steaks are indeed half-off.
Each week, the contemporary steakhouse — also serving seafood — features a selection of specialty steaks, ranging from wood-grilled churrasco-style filets to buttery Wagyu rib eyes.
While the weekly specials vary, on any given Sunday you might find on offer: an 8-ounce wood-grilled churrasco-style filet for $35 (regularly $70); a 14-ounce Wagyu rib eye for $60 (regularly $120); and/or a 6-ounce Wagyu grilled cowgirl filet for $28 (regularly $56).
Lola 41

Lovers of Americanized sushi rolls (i.e. those that might include such ingredients as mayo) gravitate to LoLa 41 —especially now for summertime BOGO Sushi Sundays.
Buy one sushi roll, get another one free of equal or lesser value.

For summer, the classic French-American restaurant led by famed chef-restaurateur Daniel Boulud is featuring a tempting three-course lunch menu (Monday through Friday) and a three-course dinner menu (Sunday through Thursday).
The special menus, created by onsite executive chef Christopher Zabita, are offered in addition to Café Boulud’s regular menus.
The three-course lunch menu is $58. The three-course dinner menu is $78. Enjoy seating in the dining room or outside in the Brazilian Court’s historic fountain courtyard.
