A June 29 crash on Interstate 95 has resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes, with at least one person being flown out for medical care, officials said.
The northbound lanes of I-95 are shut down with traffic being diverted onto Becker Road in southern St. Lucie County, according to Port St. Lucie Police.
The St. Lucie County Fire District at 10:13 a.m. reported officials were at the scene of the crash, which involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.
The Fire District reported one person was being flown to a trauma center.
“Northbound traffic is heavily impacted, and motorists should expect significant delays,” the Fire District stated.
