Injured Lamar Jackson grabs dinner at Lake Worth food truck in viral TikTok

It looks like Lamar Jackson needed a little home-cooked food to get right ahead of a potential return for the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8 of the NFL regular season.

Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP who starred at Boynton Beach High School, was featured in a viral TikTok video this week while grabbing dinner at a food truck in Lake Worth.

New Flavorz food truck, which serves Caribbean food at 6016 Old Congress Road, posted a TikTok video in which Jackson accepts a tray of food and poses for photos during the Ravens’ bye week.

The video rose to the top of TikTok’s trending page and has been viewed more than 1.5 million times as of Oct. 24.

Lamar Jackson injury update

Jackson has been sidelined since Sept. 28 with a hamstring injury. He returned to practice for Baltimore on Thursday, Oct. 23 but his status for the Ravens’ upcoming game against the Chicago Bears remains uncertain.

The Ravens (1-5) have endured a tumultuous 2025 campaign amid Jackson’s injury woes.

Baltimore started the season 1-3 with Jackson under center for multiple close losses to top foes like the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions.

The Ravens have not been competitive in Jackson’s absence with back-to-back lopsided losses to the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams.
