The U.S. Open Trophy, the Jack Nicklaus Medal, inscription to the Champions’ plaque, and exemptions for upcoming tournament are on the line for the 156 players that compete in the U.S. Open.
The tournament has returned to Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, located in Southampton New York. It’s been seven years since the Hills last hosted the U.S. Open, when Brooks Koepka took his second win in a row. Players like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and some Florida natives will take the stage to one of the biggest and most prestigious tournaments in professional golf.

When is the US Open?
The 2026 U.S. Open, the 126th edition of the tournament, will be played from June 18-21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.
Rounds one and two will start at 6:30 a.m. ET on June 18, and 19. Round three will start at 10 a.m. ET on June 20. The fourth and final round will start at 9 a.m. on June 21. Tee times have yet to be announced

There are four days that make up the 2026 U.S. Open Tournament.
First round – 6:30 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 18
Second round – 6:30 a.m. ET to 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, June 19
Third round – 10 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 20
Final round – 9 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 21
