How many spots on Jaguars 53-man roster are up for grabs in training camp?

Once training camp begins, positional battles for playing time as well as roster spots will take center stage for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

But how many roster spots are actually up for grabs?

We recently went position by position, taking a look at who is a roster lock, who is on the bubble, and at some positions, there are players likely to make the roster but not quite locks.

Below is a look at how many roster locks we determined there are at each position.

How many roster spots are available on Jaguars’ 53-man roster?

In total, by our estimation, there are 41 players who are roster locks heading into Jaguars’ training camp. But there are an additional nine players who we put in the “likely to make the team category,” although they may not quite be locks.

So, when it comes to how many roster spots are truly up for grabs for summer, at the very high end it is 12, while at the low end it’s just three.
