He defeated Boca Raton’s Oscar Crowe and Palm Beach Gardens’ Matthew Marigliano in a playoff to secure the fifth and final qualifying spot. Crowe and Marigliano will still advance as alternates.

Automatic qualifiers included Melbourne’s Arth Sinha (5-under), who was tournament low medalist, followed by Jacksonville’s Lucas Gimenez (4-under), Weston’s Sohan Patel (3-under) and North Palm Beach’s Wylie Inman (3-under).

The 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur will be played July 21-26 at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas.

Woods played in his first U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in 2024. He missed the cut after shooting 22-over in the first two rounds.
