Get ready for Pancakes With Santa event on Dec. 6 in Fort Walton Beach

The annual Pancakes With Santa event will be held 7:30-10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 at Magnolia Grill, 57 Brooks St. SE, Fort Walton Beach.

The suggested minimum donation is $10. All proceeds and gratuities benefit the Salvation Army and the Air Force Enlisted Village Hawthorn House Assisted Living Facility.

According to organizers, this event honors the establishment of the Empty Stocking Fund by the Northwest Florida Daily News newsroom secretary Dorothy Mullin more than three decades ago to benefit local charities and the Salvation Army.

Patrons can enjoy all-you-can eat pancakes served with smoked sugar sausage, orange juice and coffee. Volunteers from the community and Gregg Chapel AME Youth Program will be on hand, and kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
