Shelter in place lifted, roadway reopened

The shelter-in-place notice has been lifted and the roadway has reopened at the Lucena Street and Andorra Street intersection in Navarre after a brief closure due to a gas main break, according to Santa Rosa County.

Update: Shelter in place

The Santa Rosa County Dispatch Center sent out notification shortly before 1 p.m., calling on all residents living within 500 feet of the gas leak site to shelter in place until an all clear is given.

Gas leak closed Lucena and Andora streets intersection

The Intersection at Lucena Street and Andorra Street in Navarre is closed due to a gas main break, Santa Rosa County announced just before 12:30 Monday afternoon.

Okaloosa Gas has arrived on scene, but there is no expected time of reopening at this time.

The Holley Navarre Fire Department has also arrived on scene. No injuries have been reported.

Officials did not provide additional information.

Motorists are asked to use caution and to expect delays in the area.
