The 2026 Gainesville Regional finals feature a rematch between the hosting Florida Gators and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Sunday. If you want to watch the early afternoon softball action on TV or live stream, we have all the details you need to know just below.
Florida made it to the final round of the tournament thanks to a pair of run-rule victories over the FAMU Rattlers (12-0) and the Yellow Jackets (8-0), respectively. The Gators’ offense has been cooking this weekend while the pitching has been near-perfect, throwing 10 shutout innings so far.
Georgia Tech beat the Texas State Bobcats in its tournament opener, 2-1, before getting shellacked by the Orange and Blue on Saturday morning. A second 4-1 victory over the ‘Cats on Saturday afternoon earned the Yellow Jackets a chance to enact revenge on their hosts.
Tech will need to win a pair on Sunday — as the double-elimination tournament rules require — if it wants to advance to the Super Regionals. History is not on the Jackets’ side, however, having lost three already to Florida in three tries this season and prevailing just once in 11 games all-time.
