FSU vs Clemson predictions, picks, odds. Who wins Week 11 college football game?

The Florida State vs. Clemson football game is quite a long way from the “Bowden Bowl.” What once was annually one of the ACC’s top matchups is in 2025 an ACC Network game between a .500 team and another hoping it can get there.

FSU (4-4, 1-4 in ACC) enters the matchup the hottest team by default, ending a four-game losing skid by pulverizing Wake Forest 42-7 last week in Tallahassee. With quarterback Tommy Castellanos and Gavin Sawchuk leading the charge, the Seminoles field the ACC’s top rushing offense (and eighth-best in the nation) with 241.3 rushing yards per game. They’ve also got Duce Robinson, No. 3 in the conference with 86.1 receiving yards per game.

Meanwhile, Clemson (3-5, 2-4) suffered a gut-wrenching 46-45 home loss to Duke last week, the Tigers’ second straight loss and third in a row at Death Valley. QB Cade Klubnik comes in third in the ACC with 1,915 passing yards and 15 total touchdowns, one behind Castellanos. The teams’ struggles have led to constant questions over Mike Norvell and Dabo Swinney could be the next coach fired.

Florida State vs Clemson predictions, picks for college football Week 11

Liam Rooney, Tallahassee Democrat

FSU 35, Clemson 31: “Predicting how either team will play on Saturday is fool’s gold, as both programs have been wildly inconsistent this season. If, and a big if, both teams play to the capabilities shown in flashes this season, fans could be in for another tense classic game between the rival schools. Regardless of the performance, the outcome seems destined to be a close contest, with the Seminoles coming out on top at the end, thanks to their offense outpacing Clemson’s.”

Derrian Carter, The Greenville News

FSU 34, Clemson 27: “The Tigers will match the Seminoles’ high-scoring offense, but a costly turnover or punt in a critical moment of the game will doom Clemson and continue Dabo Swinney’s worst year of his full-time coaching career.”

Josh Pate, On3

Take FSU: “Florida State +2.5, I can’t believe I’m saying it, is going to be our first Best Bet of the week. We think the wrong team is favored. Clemson has lost six consecutive games against Power Four opponents in Death Valley. So it’s not the toughest place to play right now.”

Jessi Wynn, Pro Football Network

FSU 31, Clemson 30: “Florida State’s Tommy Castellanos could be the difference-maker. This dual-threat quarterback has 1,878 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns, and three rushing touchdowns. If Castellanos can regain rhythm on offense and avoid turnovers, Florida State should be able to edge out in a narrow win.”
