FSU football injury report, Tommy Castellanos all clear for ACC opener vs. Virginia

Florida State football released its final injury report ahead of kickoff against Virginia on Friday, Sep. 26, and quarterback Tommy Castellanos has been removed from the list, as expected, as he’s set to start his first ACC game in Garnet and Gold.

This is the final injury report mandated ahead of kickoff for the No. 8 Seminoles (3-0).

FSU made three changes to the report, with true freshman defensive tackle Kevin Wynn, true freshman wide receiver Jayvan Boggs and redshirt freshman linebacker Caleb LaVallee upgraded from questionable to game-time decisions.

Wynn missed the first three games of the season with an injury, and head coach Mike Norvell said the team would monitor how his body reacted to practice throughout the week. Should he play, he is listed as a second-string player on the depth chart and will likely see significant action.

Boggs has an undisclosed injury. Lavallee could make his debut against Virginia after, like Wynn, missing the start of the season.

Kam Davis, Roydell Williams, Deamontae Diggs, Gavin Markey, Chase Loftin and Ethan Pritchard are listed as out.
