The FSU Seminoles are entering a critical 2026 season and will be doing so with some of the top players in the ACC, according to one expert. Phil Steele has released his preseason All-ACC teams, and four Florida State players made the three different teams.
Returning wide receiver Duce Robinson and cornerback Ja’Bril Rawls are on the first and second team, respectively. Two newcomers were also honored, with linebacker Chris Jones on the second team and offensive lineman Nate Pabst on the third team.
Robinson is FSU’s top player and is looking to build on his breakout 2025 season, when he made the All-ACC First-Team after catching 56 passes for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns. He had the chance to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, but elected to return for his senior season.
Rawls was FSU’s top cornerback and briefly entered the transfer portal before withdrawing for his redshirt junior season. He finished the year with 40 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, one interception, and one fumble recovery in seven games.
Jones was one of the most productive players in college football last season, recording 134 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and one pass breakup at Southern Miss before entering the portal. He is expected to be a key piece at linebacker for new position coach Ernie Sims, a group that has struggled lately.
Pabst is one of five linemen that the Seminoles have landed through the portal this offseason as Herb Hand has to replace all five starters from last year. He is one of the more versatile pieces along the offensive line, having the ability to play at right tackle or guard.
