Northwest Pensacola is getting a new spot to grab chicken fingers, house-made sauces and Southern-style fast food after Foosackly’s was approved to build its third Florida restaurant this week.
Foosackly’s is a fast-food restaurant chain that’s based in Mobile, Alabama, and has 16 restaurants: 14 restaurants across Alabama and two locations in Florida, both located in Escambia County.
Three Finger Inc., Foosackly’s parent company, was approved to build a new, 4,400-square-foot restaurant on the corner of North Eight Mile Creek Road and West Nine Mile Road by Escambia County’s Development Review Committee on Sept. 24.
The chain plans for the new restaurant to have a single drive-thru lane with two access points leading onto Eight Mile Creek and another for motorists using Nine Mile Road.
Foosackly’s will open at 2605 W. Nine Mile Road. The 5.61-acre site is currently vacant.
Foosackly’s third location in the county was initially supposed to open at 6399 N. Ninth Ave., however those plans fell through and now John Seafood operates in the spot.
Three Fingers Inc. bought the land where the restaurant is planned for $1.55 million from a local widow that bought it for $53,000 in 2015.
Foosackly’s menu
Foosackly’s simple menu is composed almost entirely chicken fingers—though you can get them on their own, in a salad, on a sandwich, or tossed in buffalo sauce and placed on a brioche bun. For sides, the restaurant offers crinkle cut fries, cole slaw, Texas toast or an “extra” chicken finger.
Where are Foosackly’s locations?
Foosackly’s has 16 locations, 14 of which are in Alabama.
Both of Florida’s Foosackly’s restaurants can be found in Escambia County at the following addresses:
