Standout Freeport girls basketball player Athiei Dhal, a 6-foot-9 rising sophomore, added another Division I scholarship offer ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Dhal announced on Instagram that she received an offer from Florida State.
Florida State is coming off a 10-21 season under head coach Brooke Wyckoff, who completed her fifth full season leading the Seminoles.
The four-star prospect is ranked No. 3 nationally in the Class of 2029 and No. 2 in Florida. She put together a record-setting freshman season at Freeport, averaging 27.4 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks in 27 games while shooting 69% from the field.
Her standout debut ranked her among Florida’s statistical leaders, finishing No. 8 in scoring, No. 12 in rebounding and No. 3 in blocked shots.
Florida State joins SMU and Ohio State among the Division I programs that have offered Dhal this offseason as she prepares for her sophomore campaign at Freeport.
