For the Florida High School Athletic Association teams, Week 1 of the football regular season has arrived. It brings 10 games involving Volusia-Flagler squads with it.
The Potato Bowl highlights the local slate. Flagler County rivals Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas will meet for the 17th time. The Bulldogs hold a 14-2 record.
